Something important, something stupid - the right thing
As many of you know, Dr. Sophilia Greyse and I have been seeing each other for quite some time now, but only a few, if any know it has been a bit more than a year now. What started as occasional lovers, sharing the same kinks quickly became a close friendship. And when my previous relationship broke up, we became a couple.
Today we want to announce something, that might be considered stupid, given how short we have known each other, and all trouble we have had in the past, but for us it is the right thing to do right now – an important step into the future together. We are engaged now and will marry end of September this year. The exact date is still undecided since we are still organizing the details. So don’t ask.
We had a bigger fight a week ago, got separated and it taught us two things. First, we have amazing, loyal friends who talked sense back into us and did everything to help us get back together. You know who you are and we thank every single one of you for it. You all mean a lot to us. And second, that we need each other, that we are good for each other, that each of our worlds is not complete without the other.
I have been at many dark places in the last half year. Not many know this and I usually try to hide it. I was afraid, I could not be enough for a wonderful woman like Sophie, that I could would bring my darkness into her heart, taint her as well. But she proved me wrong. Instead she brought the light back into my life, made me step out of the dark. With her, I’m willing to leave the past, unfulfilled dreams behind and look forward to the future. Together. Forever.
We know, we have a rocky road ahead of us. We know, we still will need our friends. But we also know that we will make it.
